The Director

Orchestra director born in Madrid, she studied music at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Madrid. He finished with the highest grade, obtaining the titles of Senior Professor of Orchestra Conducting, Senior Professor of Solfeggio, Music Theory, Transposition and Accompaniment, Professor of Harmony, Counterpoint, Composition and Instrumentation and Professor of Piano, Master of Orchestra Conducting and Choir, Master of Musical Management and Promotion. Among her teachers, the following stand out: Gianluigi Gelmetti, Karl Österreicher, Francisco Navarro Lara and Francisco García Nieto.

As an Orchestra Director, she has conducted the Orquestra di Sofía , Oltenia Philharmonic Orchestra of Craiova, Barcelona Chamber Orchestra and the Münich Münchner Jugendorchester Youth Orchestra, among others, has collaborated in the production of several operas at the Teatro Real in Madrid together with Gianluigi Gelmetti b> and Jesús López Cobos, is currently the Artistic Director of the Women's Symphony Orchestra of Madrid.

Her concern for transmitting her knowledge to others and spreading her passion for music have led her to write the biography of W. A. Mozart published by EDIMAT in 2004, within its Great Biographies collection; She is a regular speaker, a guest on television and radio programs, a professor at the Institute of Military History and Culture, and a member of the INJUVE jury.

Her biography would be incomplete if her disseminating profile of works composed by women were not highlighted, obtaining great successes in her work and representative of Spain before the European Union in the EUROPA SEASON Festival.

Among his latest concerts we highlight: The Nights of the Botánico in Madrid conducting modern music groups, The Overture by Fanny Hensel‐Mendelssohn, Concerto for piano and orchestra by E. Grieg, Romeo and Juliet by Tschaikowsky at the National Auditorium in Madrid, El Sinfónico by Serrat in Madrid, The Fantastic Dances by J. Turina and The Spanish Rhapsody by M. Ravel in Alicante and at the National Auditorium in Madrid, the Amor Brujo by M. de Falla with Carmen Linares, in Segovia, The Magic Flute by Mozart , Verdi's La Traviata, Rossini's The Barber of Seville and Zarzuela Preludes in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and Zaragoza Auditorium; In her international concerts, it is worth highlighting last December 24 in Bethlehem - Israel in the Nativity Square, the Christmas Eve concert with works by Mozart and Beethoven, and on January 4 and 5 in Ramallah and Nazareth.

Orchestra Settings

The Women's Symphony Orchestra offers a wide musical alternative, through its different groups, in order to reach all audiences, in auditoriums, theaters and different events, covering all musical genres. string chamber groups; Wind chamber groups; Chamber Orchestra and Symphony Orchestra.

 

CHAMBER settings

The Chamber Orchestra, reduced in its number of components, deals primarily with the classical repertoire. In these works, a small number of string players and a small woodwind section, with some brass, are needed.

SYMPHONIC Settings

The Symphony Orchestra consists of four instrumental sections: strings, woodwinds, metal winds and percussion, encompassing the symphonic range.

STRINGS Settings

Chamber music is constituted in its different formats:
Duets, trios and string quartets, covering the classical and romantic repertoire.

WINDS Settings

In woodwind and metal wind, we also offer its different chamber formats: Trio, Quartet, Quintet and Octet, covering the classical and early romantic repertoire.
